Sometimes when I look up and see birds gathered in a tree, I feel a bit of envy.They sit for a moment, still and ordinary, and then, without a plan, without permission, they lift into the air. No schedules. No worries about tomorrow. No weight of unfinished things. Just wings, wind, and direction.

When I woke up, I saw these clouds making familiar patterns in the sky. We've seen these kinds of clouds before. I think they are called Altocumulus or Cirrocumulus. It's curious how the same patterns return over and over. You'd think things would change.
