This is actually funny because it's the exact opposite 😂
The name changed after we added Fediverse support. We didn't want it tied only to Bluesky anymore.
In case it's not clear enough: no Reels, no AI. Just a classic photo app. Even if you don't like Stories you can disable it.

I wonder if the reason Pinksky app (that basically makes Bluesky have a more Instagram style UI, which I like to use from time to time),
changes its name to Pink Leap because it's going to malform towards supporting AI slop, by adding shitty features.. 🤔

We’ve seen more people asking about this lately.
