Right. So. I have a very weak stomach where the uncanny valley is concerned. That hump at the back of fake nails. Breasts that look like one has stuffed softballs under one’s skin. The unmoving face with sharp facial bones and deep set eyes that remind me of a ventriloquist’s dummy.

My apologies for misspellings. It’s my sad reliance on spellcheck. Mea culpa.

Warning: unknown length. Possibly triggering, who knows what that is anymore. Maybe some whining.

So, Triumphal Arch. Cool. It can get torn down without permission right after he’s gone. But, follow me here, not all the way. It needs to be left like a fallen ancient monument. Bronze foot prints leading to and from the Lincoln Memorial.

So Trump is building the arch. The first new president needs to tear it down. No all the way down. Leave enough so it’s a memorial of failure. Torn town so Lincoln can commiserate with the soldiers again.

I am always surprised when I hear an American say they are too poor to leave their dead end town. Somehow people from Africa or South America or Asia can show up to America with nothing and make themselves a success. That’s real American exceptionalism. Nothing to greatness. Not blame casting.

@fetterman.senate.gov Go watch any 60 minutes episode on settler violence . That’s why we shouldn’t be supplying offensive weapons. Why are we giving “aid” to a wealthy nation?

Can you imagine the parlay and accumulator bets for Egypt vs Argentina? I’m not saying they didn’t deserve to win, but the consistently odd series of events for that game ending in the Argentina simply dominating the last 20 minutes? An example of sport working amazingly well for gambling houses.

@morningjoe-msnow.bsky.social wasn’t one of the reasons spouted by the gun crowd that and armed society is a polite society? We’ve seen the lie in that. They have proven that guns don’t make people polite, it makes them swagger. That’s why we moved away from the old west bs in the first place.

So, based on how they are turning on each other, how long until they Thomas as a liberal plant on the court, just waiting to stab them in the back? Or accuse HIS wife of being a man. He is a lot of liberal success.

He went after a response and he got it. Unfortunately the people who flock to his brand of nonsense look at the ankle monitor as sign of his persecution. They will only care about the response he got that “proves” his biases.

Heat Dome. Query: As more heat domes form, and more of the mega-super-duper Ai data centers come on line, do you suppose they will cut power to our air conditioning or theirs?

Gun rights. Let’s say that the current interpretation of the 2nd amendment is valid. It doesn’t say an individual can own more than one gun. The right to “bear arms” applies very individual in the whole country. Not indicative of more than one arm. Written in an era where you might own one ….

Why, exactly, does anyone care about what a star who’s fame is linked to “Inglorious Bastards”? Who cares what she wears to Cannes or even if she is at Cannes? I’d forgotten Anne Hathaway existed until she made a sequel to a 2011 movie. How long does fame last, should it last and why?

@rmac.bsky.social we’ve hit the point where personal wealth at, the upper end, is now a meaningless number. That Musk is extracting wealth from the lower classes even faster is equally meaningless. The problem is the fact that the EC (Epstein Class) has no understanding of the lower classes.

So, the MAGAs couldn’t get enough recruits so they increased the age limit and okayed people with pot convictions. Now, RFKjr says that 70% of kids can’t qualify for the military. What are they planning for America’s children? (Sarcasm, I hope).

@rbreich.bsky.social Are we talking about America or Israel? Both countries seem to be embracing the beliefs and behaviors of their traditional enemies.

@czeckmate2024.bsky.social you think elected officials are in it for the money? Fie, I say! A thin skinned, MMA champion and patriot like Markwayne taking a political office to increase his net worth 8 fold? I believe you are correct.

@abbyphillip00.bsky.social the problem with the economy is that we we have been trained to believe that consumerism is the solution. The need to “keep up the Joneses”, retail therapy etc. People are consuming at the same, or higher levels, because it not doing so feels like failure.

@gelliottmorris.com It’s okay. The new Fed chair seemed to have the fix. Just don’t factor food or energy into the cost of living. Dr Trump has the cure! Le Voila! All better.

Note: When Trump becomes emperor, after destroying the republic, history shows to he’ll he stabbed many times by his friends.

@rincewind.run I would be happy if just they payed taxes equal to your average middle class family. In war time, 90% would be a good war time rate. For rich folks and oil companies. They seem to maximize profit during conflict. With out actually leaking any of their own vital fluids, of course.
