It's a giant hand from The Mindy Episode of The Simpsons. It reads: "I am tired of these (99) about my giant jam / the first of such incidents occurred in 1956 when..." The (99) indicates the notifications on itch.io, a game hosting platform. Itch.io notifies you for every. Single. Person. that joins your hosted game jams. GBJam has surpassed 2k this week.

From a reverse image search, it looks like they're from a maker called "the king's clay sculptor", and each one is sculpted from polymer clay (or made to look like it is). They're roof tiles for protective cat guardians.

That lunchbox does go pretty hard though.

Best I can offer is a poorly worded instruction that we must go to a mandatory high-stakes social event for eight hours directly after work where there are screaming children and no dinosaurs and the implication that you're being difficult if you refuse.

Another for #ThickTrunkTuesday - "The Man Who Planted Trees". I was given this copy in 1995 by my parents. It follows the story of Elzeard Bouffier, a shepherd who planted oak trees to repair the land of Provence in the 1950s. This edition is enhanced with the now-famous woodcuts by Michael McCurdy.

The book depicts a forest twisted and overgrown. Delightful to explore with the eyes and +5 horror mental damage.

The original photo is a book cover of some dinosaurs chowin' down on a bloated herbivore corpse. The carnivores are labelled as "me" and "also me 22 minutes ago". A disturbed ankylosaur is looking on from a distance and is labelled as "Passers by, well-wishers and concerned family". It is saying "is this a bit?". Finally, the bloated corpse is labelled as "The Simpsons s05e09, "The Last Temptation of Homer" aka "The Mindy Episode"" The joke here is that everyone is concerned for my wellbeing because I watch the same episode of the Simpsons over and over again when I am stressed.

A man has travelled back in time just to shoot a t-rex in the neck with his hand lasers. He's also apparently visiting the earth across a period of several hundred million years judged on the fauna, but it's old comic paleoart so we can let it slide. Anyway, the text over the prehistoric lizards reads "My friends, eager to watch any episode of the Simpsons other than s05e09". The text over the annoying man reads "Me, testing my friends' patience and loyalty with my nonsense." The whole thing is a clever commentary on how I enjoy watching s05e09 of the Simpsons on loop regardless of my audience's preference.
