This is true. And most of the trans people I know who ARE making good money are still precarious because they’re supporting several other trans people
The disconnect between the average cis centrist and what being trans is like is that if you're a trans woman, it's pretty much impossible to get hired by a normal job right now. Like if it's a bad economy for cis people, it's impossible for us so we're all in very precarious positions.
