Sadly no, as a very big percentage of the people who voted for AfD weren't even alive (or barely) when the GDR was still a thing. Hell, even their main candidate was born AFTER the re-unification...

Which is the only reason why I'm not completely doom and gloom over the election results, as a new AfD-led state government
