Gavin Newsom, who allowed this merger to go forward, was credibly alleged of interfering in the state’s lawsuit against Activision / Kotick for sexual discrimination—alleged interference for which his former Chief of Staff is now facing criminal charges over.
Just putting that on the table.
Just putting that on the table.
Former Activision CEO Bobby Kotick is joining David Ellison's board of directors at the newly christened Skydance following Paramount's now-completed acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery. https://bit.ly/470r7D8

If this is true, too little too late. If you're going to kill physical, gaslight your audience on licensing digital games, overprice your consoles, constantly layoff your staff, close your top studios, etc., reviving your neglected franchises is not nearly enough to revive trust.

I often think about every character in ZX identifying as a Mega Man, regardless of their gender.
We've always had Mega They/Thems!

If you read the presentation (gamebiz.jp/news/433531) this has very little to do with "AI" - it's stuff like if there are 100 widgets onscreen you can draw them all by stamping them out rather than having 100 full instances, which is an optimization technique that's like 40 years old.

200 votes so far which is certainly respectable but we gotta hit at least 350 to keep pace with past polls! Listen to some soundtracks and make your voice heard! You have until the end of Sunday to submit!
The time for the next Soundtrack poll has arrived! I want to know your Top 10 Video Game Soundtracks of 1988! This should be a really interesting year, especially with the introduction of the Genesis/Mega Drive in Japan. Good luck voting! forms.gle/9SaKWS9A8wE9...

We've reached 1988! And not only do we have the continued releases on PCs, arcades, and the NES, but the introduction of the Genesis/Mega Drive in Japan. Will that be reflected in the results? Be sur...

Sonic Team head believes Sonic series is only halfway to its full potential
The long-running Sonic the Hedgehog franchise continues to gain popularity and despite 35 years of the blue blur, Sonic Team head Takashi Iizuka, believes that the series is only halfway to its full potential. The team initially had extremely high goals when it came to SEGA's 2D mascot back in the day, but with a mixed bag of 3D games the Sonic Team hasn't had that critically acclaimed breakout hit. However, they will continue to do their best to strive to get there and good luck to them. “To be honest, we believe that Sonic is still only halfway to reaching its full potential.
