2/2 We made boards and put them on the pillar in the Dinner Hall. This week, children can make suggestions for their Assembly. We will look at them, pick 4 ideas & next week ask people to vote using corners. When we know our focus, members of the Pupil Council will prepare and deliver the Assembly.

At our first Pupil Council meeting we came up with the idea of a Pupil Choice Assembly once per month. At Assembly on Friday we delivered the first one (with the theme chosen by a member of the Pupil Council) and told the children how it will work in the future. 1/2.

Today we made the most of the lovely weather to get out into the school garden and do some much needed weeding! Some of those weeds were very strong and tough but we tried our best and had fun too.

We had our final house meetings of the year this afternoon. The children came up with a new cheer for their House for Sports Day, the House Captains gave out their special certificates to one person from each class and we found out that the winning house this year is Aidan House! Congratulations!

On Go Yellow Day (5th June) the children can pay 50p to play Beat the Goalie against Mr Short, Mr Laird or one of the P7 Pupil Council members. Each player will have their name put in the raffle and again if they manage to score a goal. Good luck everyone.
