Quick resume check: copy the whole page into Notepad or TextEdit. If lines jumble or words vanish, simplify the layout (fewer columns, no text boxes) before you change the font. Published guides, not official ATS documentation; systems differ.

Packing from memory decides at the door. Packing from a list decides at the table. Group it once: documents and money, clothes, toiletries and meds, tech and comfort. Then reuse the same page for every trip. Check official rules for your own trip.

Total or balance due? On an invoice with a deposit they are two different amounts. Total is the whole job; balance due is the total minus what the client already paid. Label both lines so nobody pays the wrong one. Check local rules for tax.

Resume tip: keep contact details in the page body, not the Word header/footer; many applicant tracking systems skip headers and footers. Test: save as PDF, paste into Notepad, see what survives. My free 1-page checklist: printday7.gumroad.com/l/free-ats-r...

Why can one report say prices rose 5.0% and another 3.4%? Different time spans. Q2 PCE prices: 5.0% at an annual rate (BEA, 3rd est.). August PCE vs a year earlier: 3.4%. Check the label: monthly, annualized or 12-month. www.bea.gov/news/2026/pe... #EconSky

BLS says the 90% confidence interval on the monthly change in nonfarm payrolls is on the order of +/-122,000 because the data come from a sample. One month is a snapshot, not a trend. www.bls.gov/news.release... Educational only. #EconSky

Two jobs surveys, two answers. Payrolls come from the establishment survey (counts jobs at employers). The unemployment rate comes from the household survey (counts people). They can point different ways in a month. BLS explains both: www.bls.gov/news.release... #EconSky
