Any system that detains people must have robust oversight, accountability, and transparency. Forcing people to use an internal grievance system is the same thing prisons do, with the same outcomes. If it's not working for ICE, we shouldn't accept it in our justice system either.

Any system that detains people must have robust oversight, accountability, and transparency. Forcing people to use an internal grievance system is the same thing prisons do, with the same outcomes. If it's not working for ICE, we shouldn't accept it in our justice system either.
