Supreme Court lets Trump's WH ballroom construction continue for now.
Before Trump, SCOTUS only overturned lower court rulings at a rate of 9%. It was extremely rare. Now, it seems as if the supreme court almost always is overturning the lower courts in favor of Trump. That reeks of corruption.

For this story, we obtained hundreds of files from Flock’s login pages. Those files contained code for screens and functionality that ordinarily sit behind a police login.

@dell.bsky.social and I used the code to rebuild parts of the system. We adapted/embedded it so readers can see how it works.

There’s fresh evidence that the White House hatched a scheme to punish an American state because it didn’t free a convicted felon the president likes.

“I’ve never seen anything like it,” a federal judge said. “I’ve never even imagined something like it.”

Why isn't this a bigger scandal?

I didn’t come anywhere near this when I was on the Roosevelt (‘87-‘90) - I think we hit like 85 straight days at sea. But even that was miserable.

This is an abuse of the force and will have long term repercussions
There have reportedly been multiple attempts by sailors to jump overboard the USS Abraham Lincoln as poor conditions and mental stress reach a breaking point.

The crew is in its ninth month at sea, and has spent 250 days consecutively without making land, a record
