Dwindling reservoirs aren't the result of "bad weather" or "natural cycles". They're a choice our society made.
Growing thirsty crops like alfalfa and pecans in the desert is a choice. Refusing to reduce CO2 emissions is a choice. Refusing to change the water laws as reality changes is a choice.

I really hate that I’m even addressing this, but… no.
A 5 KT B-61 wouldn’t come *close* to wiping Pickaxe Mountain off the map.
A 30 ft subsurface detonation isn’t nearly deep enough to contain fallout OR produce the requisite ground shock to destroy 400 feet below granite.
