This is my grandpa as a young man and his sister that he remained close to after being cut off by his family. My grandma, the best person I have ever known, she’s been gone almost 33 years but I still carry the unconditional love she gifted me with. Lastly her dad, my Great Grandpa, Love them all.

Maxine and PJ were good buddies for all of PJ’s 14 years. After we lost Maxine in October, he began to stick to me like glue, Maxine was big on standing on her people and PJ has picked up the torch, he just likes to be alittlebitcloser. ♥️🩷

My neighbor across the street and a house over decided to start flying a confederate flag yesterday. He’s surrounded by gay and POC neighbors in a town known for tolerance. Our house has this sign in the front yard, a California flag and rainbow lights around the roofline, we’re allies. Stay tuned.

Maxine left us the day before Halloween. Her loss has been hard. She’s now rolling in the grass, eating violets & meat tubes, & sleeping in the sun with her brothers & sisters who were waiting for her. We were holding her when she passed and I sang Maxine by Donald Fagen to her as always. 💔

I’m bringing a whole bunch of new wreaths and headbands to @shopatfavor next week! I’m also doing some themed ones this year, White Christmas, I Love Lucy, Golden Girls and Perry Mason. I dye trees because I rarely find colors I want, so I DO IT MYSELF!
