It’s depressing how bad their news coverage is these days compared to what it used to be. Lateline was pulled off the air due to political interference in 2017 & things seemed to go downhill much faster - coverage became timid and bland.

You choose to do so - carrying around our own cr&p for too long gets hard so at some point it’s easier to let it go.
