it's SUPER uncomfortable! neogrip from savage raven made it usable for me for long hours but i can't believe how straining it is to hold out of the box

other than that: selling the fantasy, starting on a shot of full-fledged gameplay, bookending the trailer (before the stinger) with the same shot but bigger, and showing, hopefully simply, what you do in the game. storyboarded out showing a unique build, but that arc made it too long.

i watched a ton of your videos and tried to do roughly what you said in your above post with my first trailer. i'm a composer, not a trailer editor, so i basically had to lean on cuts & "visual transients" (bar filling up, rotation stop of a charm bracelet, flash on a gate) landing on downbeats.

It was before I was aboard, but I believe Mheep sent out the demo to some creators including Haelian.

Honestly, it was @haelian1.bsky.social's video. He essentially launched The Loopler into the scene. Without him none of this gets as big as it is.

NF unlocked it back in March, Haelian made a video during the fest, Sifd followed, RCE & Olexa helped a lot too. So fest into YT coverage got the first 35k, the demo being popular + having leaderboards sustained it, and tiny teams, release date trailer got velocity back and now it's all calendar
