There are so many good reasons to be vegetarian. For me, the primary reason, by far, is environmental.
This is a good time for Americans to become vegetarian. Meat is unnecessary, unhealthy, and puts a huge strain on the environment, compared to vegetarianism; not to mention that USA Factory Farms are VERY cruel to millions of innocent animals who never hurt anyone. A culture that mocks virtue fails.

I am soooo tired of having to download an app for everything.
I went to a Seattle Sounders game tonight. I had to have a Ticketmaster app to download my tickets and then I had to have a Sounders app to actually use them.
I just want to go back to a simple life. I hate it here.

Getting increasingly annoyed as my mum ages that the tech industry after decades of the personal computing & smart phone revolutions still thinks changing stuff like interfaces is just a cool thing to do without giving a shit how it effects folks just clinging on to understanding how stuff works.

I'm really struggling with the whole Mitch McConnell thing. Like, is the whole democratic party so weak that not one will book a flight to walk into the hospital or hire a PI to determine if he's dead? Do we not have investigative journalists anymore? WTH is happening, and why is no one checking?

The best way to get to the bottom of the McConnell question is for the governor to appoint a replacement. The GOP legislature passed a law stripping him of that power, but it goes against the state constitution. If they refuse to seat the replacement, take them to court. There’s zero downside.
