interesting to me that as the administration treats democratic-voting states like conquered or occupied territories, you don’t have pundits demanding the president respect “half the country”
NEW: In a stunning admission, the Trump administration admitted in court documents that it canceled billions in energy grants to states "based solely" on politics -- and whether that state was represented by Democrats and backed Harris in 2024.

Federal officials said in court documents that they halted billions of dollars in funding for energy projects to states “based solely” on whether they backed President Trump in the 2024 election.

Rachel Maddow’s description of Juan Sebastian Guerrero killed by ICE in Maine is a must see.

She explains what happened w/out being graphic, and somehow that makes it even more powerful.

State officials had projected last fall, about four months after President Donald Trump signed his tax- and budget-cutting bill into law, that the number of Oregonians receiving the benefit would fall by 4% to 5% in that timeframe.

The drop was double that.

Delaney freedom fighters, inside & outside, are forcing the world to see what it is: a concentration camp where people are held captive due to who they are, without due process. They are catalyzing demand to close this and all camps.

Because this country likes to forget what it’s capable of, I take it as a duty to remind us.

We sit at the brink of the largest decimation of Black political power since the fall of Reconstruction — a Second Redemption. And the end of Black political power means the end of democracy itself.

Taking time to do this today. I grew up in an old logging town in Oregon, where I once made a lot of enemies by doing a school project on the endangered spotted owl. These forests welcome me every time I visit—I'll always associate them with home, with rest and peace. They deserve their peace, too.
You only have a short time to comment. They are trying to destroy our forests to enrich a few logging company executives and the politicians they’ve paid off.
