Hello Gilbert!

38 years ago today, Hurricane Gilbert made landfall on Yucatan Peninsula as a Category 5 hurricane.

Reanalysis data shows the precipitable water off the charts! We can look at so many more features of the atmosphere here with pyreweather.org

I created Pyre Weather because the old @climate.noaa.gov NCEI/PSL Reanalysis webpage is no longer being maintained. :(
