In 1995 my wife and I looked at the budget & saw how much cars were costing us.
I switched jobs to one a mile from hers. We moved our home to within 4 miles of that.
Sold the SUV, kept the Corolla, & in 2009 bought our last car, a sedan.
We own our cars, drive less than 50m/mo.

When you grow up and learn how everything you do creates waste, but there are ways (like with solar) to greatly reduce the waste and poison, then you will see how stupid your post sounds.

If the ground is getting so much sun that you can grow good crops in the shade, as is happening, then it's time to take the hint and realize that, as an objection, shade in the desert isn't valid.
