Joa Jalen (he/him) is an elf from the Arlathan forest but he wanders and can be found pretty much anywhere.
He’s mute but communicates by writing, sign language or a voice projecting magic crystal (with varying success). He’s a mage but rarely uses magic.

Joa stood at crossroads on a busy city street, looking around. He scratched at his neck as he tried to figure out which way to go. He had to admit he was lost. He'd just wanted to get some spices and gotten totally turned around in the hustle and bustle. Gods, he hated cities.
