You know, I am not sure how well suited this comic would be for that format, or if this is something you have any interest in at all, but should you ever make physical/print copies of Frog & Hound, I'd love to get one

"Grim reaper", and that sword in the last part was an executioner's blade, wasn't it? Some dots are starting to connect, it seems...

Fairly certain that this is at least some species of Chortophaga, and Chortophaga viridifasciata should be native to your region and does have erythristic morphs, but the colour doesn't look quite right for those.
Also, I have no expertise with that species, but the pronotum looks a bit... off.

I love them so much

Honestly that makes so much sense, I'm surprised mostly that I never heard of this happening before. Guess we don't have that many leeches where I live in the first place, but still.

Swapping through advisors until you find one who tells you exactly what you want to hear famously is a great strategy, I see no way how any of this could fail

Also, *cryogenic grappling hooks*? How?! Why?

I am actually somewhat curious why you consider the narrative to be such an important factor. A lot of fantastic games are really just vibes and/or fun mechanics.

Also, fully understand the hesitancy of sharing something you made way after the fact, but should you ever share it, I'd love to try it!

Things like this are a very valuable resource for people who consider getting into this kind of profession, and may want to know a more realistic outlook on it before committing to it, so that they know what they are getting into.
You're doing great.

It took me way too long to notice the gradient and shift from "your headcanon is that Youmu is blind and perceives her surroundings through spectral senses from her phantom-half" to "Youmu is nonbinary"

You can see that Coco is still a novice because it didn't hit every person in the room

Oh, that makes a lot of sense!
Read it both there and on webtoon anyway, I just love when webcomics have their own websites

The most current page on the website for some reason still seems to be 12

Other ones that come to mind include Year In Hereafter and Castoff (both still going a decade after they started), Kill Six Billion Demons is in its twelfth year, Octopus Pie finished after a 10 year run, Clown Corps is prepping for its final Chapter after starting in 2019 - take your pick!

No idea where you draw the line for "really really long", but Unsounded by Ashley Cope ran for 15 years, and technically counts as both still kicking and wrapped up (the first story finished a couple months ago, and the sequel started in February)

Close enough, welcome back Dottore Rappaccini

By now I have really just developed a routine to check in on the comic every other day to see if there are any new panels of Mio being even more miserable than the last time I checked in (and more often than not, that will be the case)

Between everything about Hisami and now this, it feels like ZUN finally feels more comfortable to openly write about romantic attraction between his characters

I did have a look through your art again recently and got a tiny bit worried seeing how you hadn't posted anything anywhere in months, so yeah, glad to see you back around

Literally what I did once as a student, just identifying random insects caught in a Malaise trap for days on end. Would not be surprised if this is a very similar job, which would also explain the vaguities - they wouldn't be able to list all the types of arthropods that may be in there yet anyway

Maybe like "the continent is crumpling in on itself due to an heretofore unknown gigantic cave system collapsing, pandemonium on the moving cities trying to race away from the growing hole, and also the ocean with all that is in it rushes in to fill the gap and devour the unlucky survivors"
