More experiments on iPhone Duo's outer display:
A&B: Vertical toolbar + bottom or top primary toolbar.
C&D: Time moved to the top, minimal toolbar (shows menu on tap), and full-width web page. D goes further by completely hiding the front camera. Apple designers might hate these. Ship or skip?

Another nice little byproduct of making Quiche Browser fully resizable on iOS 27: reading in landscape mode will finally become bearable!

Giving a personal shoutout to Quiche Browser by @quiche.industries — if you're sick of Safari (and also, sick of AI search results), replace Safari on your phone with Quiche Browser. I've been using it as my daily driver for about a couple weeks now and it's been really really great.

Somehow (I don’t know how), Quiche is way faster and more responsive than Safari on my 6-year-old iPhone 11, even with an ad-blocker installed on Safari. I’ve tried many alternative iOS browsers and this is the only one I’ve ever used that’s worth keeping! So many nice quality of life features.

The best browser on iPhone keeps getting better. Seriously, if you haven’t tried it yet Quiche is sooo good. I’m happily paying for the premium version but the free version is amazing as-is (and ad free)!
Starting today, Quiche Browser disables AI overviews in search results by default, out of the box.
Compare how much space and time they waste. I love the web too much to let that nonsense bury links to real websites made by humans.
Why no other browser does that is beyond me.

The best browser on iPhone keeps getting better. Seriously, if you haven’t tried it yet Quiche is sooo good. I’m happily paying for the premium version but the free version is amazing as-is (and ad free)!
