Frames from a recently discovered 70mm print of Walt Disney's Aphantasia, arguably the more influential film of the two and certainly the bolder.

I had the pleasure of hearing T.K. read from this at @826valencia.bsky.social last week and I've been having the keener pleasure yet of reading the book today.

Tugged by the opposing desires to savor each vignette, but keen to indulge on the next.

What a joy to have this voice to cherish.
My first book, The Wildcraft Drones, is out today from @stelliform.press !

I've broken three bones in my life. Twice, at the hands of other people while biking.

Something it took me a long time see: the focus on "taxes" in right wing grievance politic,

is foremost about distracting from employers' failure to pay appropriate wages—or otherwise contribute to the social fabric and commons.

👉 If you were paid enough, you wouldn't give a shit about taxes. 👈

Ngl I had kinda sussed that Taylor might lock the Garden doors, kill the lights, and release pheromone enraged bees, but Kelce? Bruh. Et tu.

Epic long con though, respect.

I'd like to get an inflatable 8' Studio Ghibli costume and patrol the Sierra Nevada backcountry, 15 miles from any trailhead, as the enigmatic figure "No Trace."

I'll approach people making inappropriate camps, or piling unneeded cairns—point at them reproachfully—and go "eh... ehhh!"

Then vanish.

I thought I was out of the prediction business, but I have one more in me, "how it all ends": SCOTUS agrees with plaintiffs that maximizing shareholder value does indeed mandate replacement of officers with agentic AI more dispassionately capable of exercising legal and fiduciary responsibilities.

I'm with Nick.

FTA: "What looks like credulity from the outside is something more sophisticated from the inside."

NOPE. Dress it up however you like, "the feels" is indefensible as a foundation for navigating a perilous world.
