I've been procrastinating all afternoon on picking up my new prescription eyeglasses. It's nearly 6pm and it started raining hard. I guess the heavens has decided for me.

I love love love NFC contactless payment. It is MAGIC. Just tap your card or android phone to pay. It never stops feeling magical for me. Almost makes me want to buy a NFC-capable smartwatch but I don't want the hassle of another device that needs frequent charging.

Trying out a new-to-me language learning app and I had to laugh at this. LingQ knows people are watching shows in foreign languages and want to learn those languages for deeper understanding and appreciation.😁

I used too much superglue and the overflow ended up on my thumbs and forefingers. Now I can't use the fingerprint sensor on my phone.😅

I made tea eggs a few days ago. My mainland Chinese cousin's wife told my sister that it was delicious and that she thought it was made by a native Chinese person. I used a packaged spiced tea bag but I used a local soy sauce and halved the salt. I'll still take the compliment.💅

In my rush to leave the house, I forgot to bring my Bluetooth earbuds. Now I'm sat in traffic bored and can't even listen to an audiobook or a podcast. Mr. Cab Driver and I, unfortunately, do not share the same taste in radio station music.

Finally upgraded my phone when Samsung dropped a deal on the S25 ultra 512gb. My goodness. I am LUXURIATING in the 512gb storage after 5+ years of memory scarcity with my 64gb iPhone XS Max.

I have to be up in less than 2 hrs to travel. Haven't slept a wink. I am hungry. I am tired but unfortunately not "sleepy" tired. I can't even go out to eat because the creaky door will wake my sister who does need sleep so she can drive well rested. Fingers crossed I can get some sleep in the car.
