I love the Deltarune prophecy.
I love how its fragmentation is depicted and presented, and how the characters react to it. How your mind fills in the gaps to reach a conclusion.

And all it takes is moving one single piece to unlock an entirely new possibility.

An edited "what if" scene following the events of Chapter 4's ending. Too upset to spend the night at Kris' house and unwilling to go back to her own home, Susie finds herself spending the night in Castle Town alone. Lamenting Kris not being there, she struggles to sleep in the Dark World version of his bed with a small plush Susie doll for comfort. Kris is also unable to sleep (due to both Toriel and Sans antics, and the fact that he couldn't go after Susie).

Should start posting my #DELTARUNE stuff here, huh? Have some heart-breaking, post chapter 4 #krusie to start:
A short fic of a potential aftermath of the events of Deltarune Chapter 4's ending: *You left home early after a sleepless night, without saying goodbye to your mother. *All around Hometown, people are busily preparing for the festival. *...But Susie is nowhere to be found. *Finally, you decide to slip into the school and visit Castle Town. *The air seems strangely subdued around the unusually upbeat Dark World town. *You spot Susie off in a corner, playing with Lancer. However, she seems withdrawn. Susie: "Huh? Oh... hey, Kris." *Ralsei appears soon after, and quietly pulls you aside. Ralsei: "Kris, is everything alright?" Ralsei: "Did something happen after you cleansed the fountain last night?" Ralsei: "Susie... Susie came her last night, alone. She wouldn't tell me anything. Only that she wanted to be alone... She went straight to her room to sleep. Sorry! I mean both of your rooms. I didn't have time to put everything back the way it was." *You quietly head up alone to your combined Dark World rooms. *You notice that Susie's bed looks curiously untouched. *Your bed however, seems as if its been used recently. *Near your pillow and upturned sheets, you notice something else. *A small plush doll of Susie. *You remember gifting it to her during your adventure in Cyber World. *You hope it was able to comfort whoever left it here.
