We barely have enough to get by. Please stop presuming that I somehow have extra. America doesnt show its own needy. Bless you. Pls dont ask for money.
Ffs, Parker.
I would have visited you in the hospital. But, flinging 💩 at EVERYONE will often lead to a lack of friends to visit you in hospital.

@ParkerMalloy.
Yes, they do. But some want to be supportive. I like that you explain your frustrations, but sometimes your anger pushes people away... and I dont want that for you. You are one of the leading voices for trans on Bluesky. I dont want people to discount what you say.

New in PN: Retire in peace

"McConnell would never be allowed to drive a car, babysit young children, or file his own taxes. Why, then, should a cognitively incapacitated 82-year-old retain one of the most important positions of power within the national government?"
Retire in peace
McConnell is the latest example of an incapacitated politician refusing to let go.

Dear Democrats,

You will never be able to triangulate your way through racism/sexism/transphobia, because pushing a lighter, politer form of bigotry is always a lose-lose proposition.

The bigots want the uncut stuff, while normal people aren't drawn to cowards who sell out.

Stand your ground.

We need smart, committed progressives such as Abdul El-Sayed in the Senate.

And we need right-wing Trump suckups such as Mike Rogers out of the Senate.

I hope Michiganders elect El-Sayed, who will be a great U.S. senator.

I was relating a childhood story and mentioned my toy ironing board... it had a toy iron, too... it came with a toy broom and carpet sweeper... and I thought: holy crap they really did push girls to be domestic!!
ps- it's true that I keep a clean house, but I have lived a fuller life than just that.

Honestly, I'd say the most disastrous decisions of Obama and Biden were not really holding anyone accountable for crimes committed under the previous administration.

Obama wanted to "turn the page" on Iraq and the financial meltdown while Biden never put any urgency behind the January 6th cases
What was the most disastrous decision from the most recent presidents that had effects we feel today?
Clinton: Lying under oath and getting away with it (paved way for Trump)
Bush: Iraq
Obama: Syria and Libya
Trump I: Covid and pulling out of JCPOA
Biden: Running again
Trump II: Iran

It's a scandal that the president of the United States is out of his damn mind.
It's also a scandal that major news media aren't telling you that, loudly and often.

Please note that this is a new color for Bessent, too.
It's a cult.
Most American have zero interest in the US government treating one of our most important historical allies and trading partners like this. But the worst among us is running the country, thanks to the worst and most irresponsible voters among us.

Yep.

Here in the US, it's a crime to be homeless.

Which is a road to slavery.

Poor people are here. "Poor" does not equal maga, uneducated, stupid, or covetous.
The saddest thing is that so many here suffer from affluenza and RESIST learning about how poor people live and what they want and need.
Can your side afford to lose more votes? Poor people vote.
STOP saying "backwards and poor" as if the two go together. People are poor because life and circumstances happened. NOT (necessarily) because they are "backwards".
Gee, I cant imagine why poor people feel unaccepted, overlooked, and misunderstood by "the Resistance" who act like elite snots.

The man is both an idiot and quite insane, yet no one in a position to do so will put an end to the lunacy that threatens to burn the entire country to the ground.

This will end badly — and with much carnage.

What's in his closet? Men, sure, but boys? Is he utterly corrupt on his own or is kompromat binding him? Is it "common knowledge amongst his colleagues"? Is it that Washington eats your morals as a snack and and your soul for dinner?
If he had a fiber of decency, wouldnt he just walk away?
A couple days ago, Mike Johnson mocked Thomas Massie for suggesting House leadership could keep Congress out to avoid the new Epstein Files Transparency Act, calling the idea “stupid” and “nonsensical.”

Now he has canceled the final two weeks of September.

You guys with that "follow-back" and "starter pack" crap do yourselves a disfavor by limiting your own information.
I feel like “do Republicans have a Catturd problem?” is both incredibly stupid to say out loud and also something that Ds could get some traction with if they say it out loud a lot.
Every Republican candidate and elected official must immediately condemn Republican influencer and activist Catturd for this terrible opinion, since those are now the rules.
