• had another heat wave here
• my area is currently smothered in wildfire smoke from Canada
• my dad figured out why the power to my room kept shutting off: the breaker MELTED (it's being fixed)
so. break was a good idea 😖

I just had google docs try to replace "hiccupped" with "hiccupted" which is. NOT A REAL WORD?!?
it's given me some wild suggestions (that I constantly ignore/reject) but this is. HUH?

how you know you're too used to snow: you leave for an appointment, discover one of the roads you need to take has VANISHED under snow, and instead of turning around and finding another route or rescheduling, you just throw the truck into 4wd and just guess where the road is based on the signs
