Maybe my taste has changed, maybe I know more about the finer points or process of the art, maybe I believe that knowing bad things about the artist makes me question its authenticity (whatever the hell that means), or maybe I don't like anything that people I think are bad people do

The art hasn't changed. I'm just judging it by different criteria than before. That's on me.

I think one thing that's happening is that the people of both parties who believe they should have the right tell the government what to do are beginning to understand that the people on the fringes of both parties want the government to to tell the (other) people what to do.

Thought I was super smart until I got to Cornell and discovered that I was a bit below average. Knowing that was helpful in the long run, because that's how I started learning what I'm actually good at.
