A country's people are rarely a reflection of a bad leader. IE: the people of Israel have a fascist for a leader, in Netanyahu, who is genociding in Palestine, while the world looks the other way. And, the US, hopefully, isn't a reflection of the hateful miser in the Oval Office.

It always bugged me that America claimed it was exceptional, in all things. That's some heavy-handed bullshit. Many foreign countries do certain things better than we do and they always have. For example, Scandinavian countries are far better in managing natural resources, responsibly.
