Arday wasn't fired for plagiarism. Liverpool John Moores University last week confirmed it had investigated and dismissed claims of plagiarism against Arday last year. Arday resigned because the unrelenting hostility destroyed his mental health causing him to end his life.

I just got to experience watching WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY on a theater big screen. It's a movie I adore (w/very fond memories of watching it with my dad often). Gene Wilder was my 1st instructor on perfect line deliveries of sarcasm. It was about 100 minutes of joy for a bargain $14.

I spent this Sunday sitting by the water, watching folks sail, kayaking, and jet ski under a beautiful blue, sunny sky & celebrating the memory of my daddy. A flawed but doting single mom. What a hoot that man was!

I had to surrender my beloved dog to a safe haven today. I am unable to care for him right now, & I'm devastated. I've not only failed myself, I have failed the truest, most loyal & loving friend I've ever had. May he forgive me. Any good thoughts you have for me & Henry are greatly appreciated.

I'm traveling this week, and today I visited my dad's grave. I only stayed for about 5 minutes but it was enough. Very soothing. Just to tell him I love and miss him. Though I do hope he's in a place where he's gotten to dance Raquel Welch. I miss his sense of humor the most.
