I’ve been riding along on fumes and prayers and ….bald tires which I was completely unaware.
Kudos to my husband resolving that issue today before I have to go to Moncton next week for 3.5 days of meetings .

It's official, the student transit pass program will continue this year.
The Student Transit Pass Program will continue for 2026/27 school year. Eligible students in grades 7 through 12 will receive a free annual transit pass providing unlimited travel on all Halifax Transit services, including bus, Access-A-Bus and ferry. Details: www.halifax.ca/home/news/st...

My sonar string lights are doing a Stranger Things sort of deal , I hear fireworks and snippets of Tracy Chapman’s Fast Car coming from a distant radio?
I guess it is a full moon , lunar eclipse sort of night .
Now it’s turned to Walking in Memphis.

I noticed a small crow , yesterday, sitting by my front steps. I gave it some shelled peanuts and watched it eat them and hide some.
It was back today eating a mouse or rat 🤢 it ate the entire thing.
Spotted the proud parents on the power line.
It ate and hid more peanuts too.

Taken right back to elementary school days when our new neighbor stopped to chat on his way by walking his dog and asks me ‘ are you ( my siblings name ) sister ?’

Us parents were trapped on our deck last night due to a massive raccoon.
Saw our son through window , called him but no phone on him.
Called daughter who left her shower routine to notify her brother.
‘ apparently our parents are stuck outside because there’s a raccoon ..omg it’s adorable’
