Cuts on benefits and the poor are a false economy. Ending up in even worse outcomes in education, health, crime and wealth creation. Which we end up paying for anyway. Tax the rich. Who just so happen to be the owners of the right wing press.

It’s high time that we had a better lottery alternative that gives more to charity and less in profit. The amount that they get is scandalous.

Yet again, BBC interviewer cites Russian public’s possible dissatisfaction with petrol queues and loss of internet purchases as reason for discontent. All interviews with any representative of Russia should highlight the huge death toll of young Russian men in this war. The elephant in the room.

It would never happen, but… they should just ban Meta until action is taken. You would never see them move so fast. Reward good security with a license. Ban others until they come up to scratch.

Appalling. It’s clear the current system doesn’t work. Desperately needs a system of increasing fines and compulsory reduction in any profit / dividends / bonuses that (if pollution continues to get worse) means bankruptcy and eventual compulsory take over. These businesses aren’t fit for purpose.
