It’s been 90 days at my new job, nay career, and I get to enroll in their great insurance! Unfortunately, life partner does not equate spouse per Anthem. Evan and I have lived together for 11 years. Guess we’ll have to become ~legal in the ~eyes of the ~law this year. Thats cool.

Just spent two hours on the blue ridge parkway enjoying the Perseids. One of the best parts of Roanoke is I “live downtown” and this is a 20 minute drive to sky dark enough for the Milky Way. Helped that tonight’s a new moon.

In March 2018 we flew out to Portland, Oregon mostly to catch the Umphrey’s run. For the encore night one they all switched instruments and covered Sabotage. A peak silly punky @umphreys.com thing to do, and Ive always relished seeing that live. It’s cute, Phish fans also have a Sabotage schtick.

Somehow rediscovered Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip today. I listened to them all the time growing up, was obsessed with Distraction Pieces, and planned my London trip around seeing Pip perform at the KOKO. But I never saw a music video before!

I dunno if anyone watches Project Runway, as shit as it’s gotten. But this ep is NFL themed and a designer saying “Nets are such a thing in sports,” and the caption immediately saying ~No nets in football~ is pretty funny.
