Getting a heap of messages about there being too many cuts going on here, so I'm sharing my abridged Director's Cut version that runs a little smoother, too!

I've blogged a little book review for The Hike by Drew Magary, one for my giant women in literature list - and a great one at that, featuring a rare man-eating giantess in a novel.
Don't know how this passed me by for so long.

Sucks that through four or five books of Dungeon Crawler Carl building up Katia's ability to grow in size, and given all the massive monsters we have in it, we never get a Katia kaiju fight spectacular.

You want a giantess terrorising a city? THIS is a giantess terrorising a city.
Reupping BIG CITY TIME on DA this morning. Tempted to do a better city attack animation soon; this one feels very dated already (and the sound is pretty awful).

I feel like I could give classes on how the small details in size interactions make all the difference between something being massively enjoyable and wholly uninspiring.
A basic doodle can outclass a big budget vfx video if it gets the emotional impact right.

An extra still from the animation I'm working on, Picking Up Girls at the Store, as I've now expanded a little on my initial grabbing moment.
There's a couple longer clips now available to subcribers, now with added sound, with more to come as soon as I'm able.

I thought The Miniature Wife was a great show overall. It's narratively a little uneven (the opening episode is especially weak, and there are some character issues) but it has excellent effects and plenty of size-warping scenarios. There's a lot of shrinking fun in there.
