Every great book or trashy movie or janky game mechanic you've ever experienced is part of your soul now, and you can't review scale your soul against the weight of a feather. Instead of trying to rate its quality, how about you figure out what new landscapes it introduced to your interior world

I'm starting to come to a point where I think media can't disrespect your time. They can ask for it but you're the arbiter of what your time is worth. Incremental games and clicker games use time as part of the economy of the game, and you can decide that's a waste of yours, but only you can.

I think streaming is pretty cool and it's a fun way to connect with other people over games, but that's a particular type of performance, it's kind of wack when you play games solo as if you're doing it for an audience. Funny character creation and character names and whatnot

I don't like any art that's made by people who don't care, things that are deliberately bad like Sharknado or Catwoman (2004) on PS2, or Catwoman (2004) the movie, but you see a name like Funky Barn and that's enticing, that's just enticing

I have such a deep respect for people who put stuff like Mario 64 or Final Fantasy X or whatever on their top 9 list, so many people try to play "let me prove I'm a real gamer by naming obscure stuff" and I'm like Krazy Ivan on PS1 did not make you who you are today

It occurs to me that even when I watched a decent amount of anime, I was always more of a manga girly so instead I did manga, all of which is court-admissable proof that I am a millennial through and through

I'm in Sabrina the Teenage Witch getting Forrest MacNeiled with pancakes mode; MGS4, Onimusha, Blood of Dawnwalker, replaying FF7 Rebirth to build a PC save, Nioh 3 DLC, Code Vein II DLC and that's not even considering the multiplayer stuff

The thing about the Kojima thing is that Sony could've done nothing this year, just kept their head down and kept going as usual this year and at least they wouldn't be Microsoft, but they saw that dog sitting at the chess board in the middle of a bunch of rakes and couldn't help themselves

As someone who has worked on a couple of remasters, the thing I like about remakes is that it does let people who were fans of the original get a chance to experience making it
