I agree but I feel Scott could be a replacement for Bruno long term though. Scott, Ederson and Santos wouldn’t raise the floor this year but could raise the ceiling in 2/3 seasons

Don’t think he’s the player you break the bank or your wage structure for though. I like him a lot but you pay that cash everyone else you’re negotiating with ups prices by 10% and everyone in the squad is asking for a pay rise

These arguments often come up when it denies a ‘moment’. If you’re trying to make a general point then fine but I feel only becomes a talking point when people dont like the result. Arsenal v whu for example. happens to arsenal wouldn’t have been a talking point for a week. But denied us a moment.

It’s purely a narrative thing. If Chelsea were in that situation, no one would complain about the application of VAR. think both decisions were pretty cut and dry and cant argue with them

I don’t think anyone would argue against that but it’s just the snide nature of Scholes. What he said about Martinez too. Feels like they’ve been marginalised by the club and taken it personally

Do you think he can adapt to create dominant teams? He’s not averaged over 50% possession anywhere so far. Clearly a very good coach but will he match up to expectations a teams expected to dominate games?
