30 years in STM publishing & related industries, then redundancy hit a week before Christmas 2025. Am lucky, I have time to consider what next? 🤔 Ditched Windows for Linux—should have switched ages ago. Enjoy hobby programming, especially now using Linux!
Multilingual text used to clip a set of colorful random walks (vector paths). All examples are vector SVGs. Glyph path fills fully clipped before writing to the SVG file: i.e., no clipping paths used in the SVGs (heavy work done by my code). Multilingual text from AI (my apologies if any are wrong).

A completely random collection of examples produced by a graphics toolchain I've been working on. ALL examples are 100% fully editable vector SVGs, converted to PNG for the purposes of building a video (using ffmpeg). All text/math is output as glyph outlines.

Stumbled on an algorithm called "Rainbow Smoke" by Hungarian programmer József Fejes. I asked Claude Code to convert a Python implementation to Lua (for use with LuaJIT). 20 minutes later I'm having nerdy fun producing these.
