Drive turns 15 today. A Michigan woman sued its distributor under consumer protection law because she felt the trailer sold a fast car film. Dismissed, and affirmed on appeal in 2013, the court noting every shot in the trailer does appear in the film.

Natural Born Killers reached number three on Billboard's videocassette rental chart in March 1995. In Britain its video release was cancelled after Dunblane and no legal tape existed until 2001. Stone and Tommy Lee Jones both turn 80 today.

Before Alien was ever a cassette it was sold as a 17 minute Super 8 reel for home projectors. Magnetic Video put out the first tape in 1980, cropped to full frame, and American tapes stayed cropped until 1992. Ian Holm would have been 95 today.
