I actually wonder at what age Lalas just quit growing. Cuz there's that one quest where you give kids cookies and you give one to a lala that just... looks like a lala. So was it a kid lala? Or an adult pretending to be a kid to get a free cookie? LOL
wanted to see if i could make a child scaling for <10 years old and im tempted to share it but ill be honest i dont trust putting it on any archive site so itd probably be trello exclusive

As I was going through all the starting zone quests around Ul'dah, I kept running into all these shady Lalafell NPCs. "My god, these little dudes are all in the mafia!!" I said to myself. "I NEED ONE."
The rest is history, I fear.

Re's had brushes with both. He'd love to go into the past and discover who it was that murdered his father, and occasionally waxes poetic about what knowing his future would be like, and if he'd react differently if he should learn that someone has a target on his back as well.

Actually, yes! Because of his upbringing he's very proper with his pronunciations and addressing people correctly.

My characters tend to be less "me" and more concepts that I enjoy exploring. Rere's concept is all about revenge and how far he'll go and who he's willing to become in order to fulfill his father's last will. Turns out... it's a lot further than anyone expected.
Thinking about my OCs and I'm curious about something: is your FFXIV WoL/OC a self-insert? Why or why not? Do you prefer to self-insert, make characters from scratch, or somewhere in the middle?

But Kelza was only part of this puzzle: He was also bidding on the value of his own life. Why shouldn't the Yilan simply throw him to the men who killed his father and be done with it? What was he worth to a man who had everything he wanted and all the cards stacked in his own favor?
It was the first time Rere had met Venivodu Sozivodu in person and he was every bit as intimidating as the rumors made him out to be. If Kelza hadn't been there with him during the hours-long bidding war, Rere wasn't certain he would've been able to keep his composure for the entire event.
Rere's engagement to Kelza Rilza felt more like a business meeting than something to be celebrated. It was to be expected, though: He was a don's grandson, and would not be given away without great sacrifices... mostly involving Re's inheritance, of course.

I like to imagine a world where homophobia doesn't exist and gender means nothing. Rere's parents like "my son likes boys, time to find him a suitable husband" with no thought about it. They've got bigger problems lol
really ive realized i dont like giving solid modern labels to characters living in a pseudo-medieval world. i dont think the general populace would know/understand what 'lesbian' or 'asexual' means, among other things

Sometimes lowkey wish there was a lala discord somewhere that wasn't covered in fetish/adult content. No disrespect to the NSFW enjoyers but the curse of asexuality is strong rofl
i cant in good conscience say anyone can dm me to be friends bc i am really bad with one-on-one convos but. if u put me in a server i could theoretically become a vital part of the ecosystem. or ill just chill on your metaphorical couch

Though with women, at least in the one example we have, the family name is at the beginning of the name, as that's what happens with Nanamo Ul Namo and her mother Nanasha Ul Nasha. Full family name, full birth name, repeats broken down into the first syllable of each.
Everyone else seems to follow this format, including women.

Almost everyone seems to have the potential family name at the end of their name, but not Cocobuki Lolobuki. The ONE set of letters that all their names has in common is "ob", which is also repeated in his courtesy name. It may just be a weird little one-off. There are no other examples of it.
You know what? I'm gonna walk some of what I've said previously back. The very same Lala I've used to make my argument for family names is the one that doesn't follow the scheme that 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑙𝑎𝑙𝑎𝑠 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑔𝑎𝑚𝑒 𝑓𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑜𝑤.
