How much do I have to yell about this? I already wrote *an entire blog* calling out THIS specific site's double-standards, but there is a reason mainstream media doesn't use machine translators even now and it's fucking embarrassing that far more tech literate orgs willingly ignore that for clicks.

Another useful comparison: if any "traditional industry" had seen job losses comparable to the UK games industry in the last few years, it'd be treated as a national crisis on the front of every newspaper for months and months, because those are considered Proper Jobs and making games is not.
