I have a photograph in the Mountlake Terrace - Arts on the Terrace show from Saturday, September 19 through Saturday, September 26, 2026. Come on over to the Mountlake Terrace Public Library and see all of the artists that got into the show.

Outer Banks (OBX) post 2 - On Monday July 28, 2025 we went to the Nags Head Woods Preserve. The bird watchers were looking high in the canopy to see tiny birds flitting around and using an app to ID bird song. I took pictures of bugs and turtles and stuff that would sit still for me.

I am taking a trip to the Outer Banks, NC with Laura. We got a Kia Niro EV at the airport and stopped at Windsor, NC for a charge break and a bite to eat. We met up with Laura's parents and sister Sue, Nancy, and their son Jacob. I didn't take many pictures here's one of Jakob playing guitar.

Everyone go get and read Someone You Can Build A Nest In! It is great. It won the Nebula award for best novel and is a finalist for the Hugo this year. It's like if David Cronenberg directed Willow.

No Kings rally/march in Seattle 6.14.2025

There are only 11 days to help out funding for the Hallow Ian Horror Hour Season 3.

The show features short films and music videos in the horror category along with interviews of film makers, humorous skits, and some mind expanding experiences.

Enjoying a day at Seattle Center with Laura and the "Hands Off" 50501 rally. Protect The Constitution. Protect Due Process. Protect Cancer Research. Tariffs Are A Tax Hike.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I get to celebrate being Irish but in a very Irish-American way as the Corned Beef and Cabbage meal has more of an immigrant origin than native to the Emerald Isle.

You have to celebrate the good news when living in a matrix of chaos trying to flood the zone. For T, 3 court losses in 90 minutes!

First Good snow of the season here in the Seattle area.

I've had a FB account for 17 years. They have their hooks into me pretty deep. I never really used Twitter. I have a dormant "Blogspot" account (that goes back to 2000). I can save my stuff but the connections I have around old friends and film people would be hard to replace on another platform.

A great family Thanksgiving in the books. We had lots of food and we're all on the same page for politics and weather so no topics were off limits. Thanks to Calvin for the photos.

Be aware

I was never much of a Twitter/X user to begin with. Even Mastodon (while pretty good) doesn't get a lot of use. Facebook is where a I have the most reach and some auto-cross-posting to Insta and Threads is convenient too. But I'll try not to be under Zuck's thumb just 'cause it's easy.

Here's a meme I shared on Facebook. So I will share it here too.
