I haven't done much writing lately due to work and family demands, but that's okay!

I've still dome lots of reading and actually finished Iron Gold yesterday! Probably my least favourite of the Red Rising series so far, but still a fantastic book!

I made some progress on my short story today, but it was very much a practice in "make it exist first, then make it good".

I feel like I've progressed the story the way I want but the wording and phrasing is clumsy. It'll be something I need to fix later, but for now I'm happy enough!

I started a new short story today and while to figure out a name for my protagonist realized that I didn't actually have a proper naming convention for my world yet.

After a couple hours of research and refinement I now have a (mostly) fleshed out naming system as well as my main characters name.

Here's one of my current reads for September/October.

I thought the Autumn/Halloween season would be a good chance to try reading a mystery book. I've never read one before and I hear good things about this one!
