These are always a delight to read. I love getting this insight, and it’s so refreshing after hearing the usual discourse surrounding this documentary. It’s clear a lot of thought and care was put into this production and I can’t wait to hear about the rest of it.

G. lorriemcwhinneyae is quite different compared to its cousin – considerably spikier! Until the revelation of Spicomellus’ new look recently, this species of Gastonia was almost certainly up there in terms of being the pincushion-iest of the ankylosaurs. (7/40)

We have swimming crabs, a brittle star, a sand tiger shark, mussels, herring (stand-ins to represent a kind of actinopterygian that may have been around in Florida at the time, but we can’t say for certain), and an undescribed crocodyliform.

Maybe that’s what was going on with that one Psitaccosaurus sp. specimen.
