I wanted to make a youtube short out of a stream moment but changed my mind when I figured they would be more trouble than they're worth... until I started getting clips from other small vtubers in my feed. So I guess I'm making that short after all.

I wish I was able to properly appreciate the animated scene in wuwa 3.7 in the moment, but I was so tired and constantly worrying about the next out of memory error that I couldn't properly process it emotionally. But this game, man. What a great game. What a work of art.

I'll be reinvesting my overtime pay into a capture card so that I can play games on my desktop and route it to my laptop. Should mitigate the risk of Steam closing due to shader-related OOM issues. I can also record streams directly to the laptop to take to work for editing.

I tried editing the Wuthering Waves streams but they're quite boring and a bit of a departure from the kind of content I want to make, so I'm not going to be putting them on YouTube.
I may just convert them into videos in the Twitch editor. Monday could be for the non-game video ideas I have.

Surprise, the audio in the recorded VOD sucks and there are overlays all over the screen. Well nobody said the return was going to be a smooth one...
It'll be fixed for next stream. I'm planning on just getting entirely rid of the overlays because they don't currently serve any purpose.

Unfortunately, this upcoming week is going to be the hardest week of my life at work. 8 work days, one day off. If I don't off myself or walk out, it will be a miracle. That does mean Wendesday and Thursday streams are looking iffy but I'll try to do something around 9pm.

I didn't realize how big of a mistake I was making by using a third-party program to remove all of my Twitch followers when I was first planning on starting over. I definitely shot myself in the foot there. Maybe I can use my existing YouTube subs to rebuild it, because I preserved my channel.

Actually, what I'll do is take today and tomorrow off like I was supposed to, and spend some of that time working on getting a streaming setup on my Linux PC up and running. Then I'll go live on Sunday with the new setup. I may do a short test stream tomorrow (~1hr) to test everything before then.
