I mean, that's right, taxation and spending are not really linked. But still, we do have people in this country dying from hunger.

So sympathy for those on £100k per year is limited
October 4, 2026 at 9:54 PM
Yes they can. No, this motion does not enable that.
October 4, 2026 at 6:37 PM
Let's get to that when we can all afford food though eh? Priorities and all that.
October 4, 2026 at 5:10 PM
There is no route to pressure, proscribe, or discipline members in the motion.

No action can be taken against a member because of the synagogue they are in.

It's an amendment without a reason to be there.
October 4, 2026 at 5:09 PM
Really? Everyone else knew exactly what was going on at City (though the actual scale of it was shocking) because it was done in plain sight.
October 4, 2026 at 3:53 PM
Oh, that's all the motions. Not just this one! 🤣
October 4, 2026 at 12:06 PM
Does it recognise the people living there who are not Jewish, and also have rights to the land?
October 4, 2026 at 10:25 AM
It's on the membership part of the Greens website and is 430 pages long. This is the only mention of the word "synagogue" in the entire document
October 4, 2026 at 10:21 AM
But it keeps other people being able to buy food. So...... 🤷
October 4, 2026 at 8:45 AM
This is the motion. "Zionist synagogues" is not in it.

It also explicitly says that Zionism is not Judaism
October 4, 2026 at 8:28 AM
Have a look at the history of the "Zionist synagogues" bit

It has no chance of becoming a policy. It was authored by a self proclaimed Zionist with the intention of derailing the wider debate. He was upfront about that.

They were louder on the environment than any other major Party all of three days ago.

That's not the only problem. It's probably not even the biggest problem.

It's the moral case that some lives are worth taking in vengeance that for me is the biggest problem
October 1, 2026 at 9:47 AM
That's what's damning for the PL. A regional English club suddenly matching Real Madrid for commercial revenue and it took a leak for the PL to investigate?

They knew from the start, but City were stupid and got caught so they will (rightly) be expunged because the PL had their pants pulled down
September 30, 2026 at 9:24 AM
The fans knew. Everyone knew.

How was a regional English club suddenly bringing in more money than Real Madrid?

It was obvious from the start and the PL shouldn't have waited for the leaks.
September 30, 2026 at 8:54 AM
Probably a silly question, but what are the chances of the Senate going as well so that he can be removed?
September 30, 2026 at 5:44 AM
So dogging is fine? Phew
September 28, 2026 at 5:44 PM
No, I think you've got that the wrong way round mate.
September 28, 2026 at 5:42 PM
City paid £115m for Anderson and suddenly Rogers is £117m. That's distorting the market.

City were cheating when they took Nasri, Clichy and Adebayor off us while we were paying for a stadium.

If they were not cheating then, could they have afforded them? Of course not.
September 28, 2026 at 3:56 PM
No? City just this summer City spent £115m on Anderson, and then suddenly every two bob player in the market is £100m.

Thats being going on for 15yrs. It's massively inflationary and it has led to extra costs for normal fans.
September 26, 2026 at 8:23 PM
You know two things can be shit right?

City cheated by using unearned money that no other club had access to, and in doing so forced up costs to those clubs and the fans who support them is wrong.

Man Utd owners taking money from their own fans to prop up their sleezy lives is also wrong.

Pre VAR there was no pretence that every decision would be right.

All we're doing right now is stopping the game for 3mins to add extra humans in.

No system, in England or elsewhere, is worth the interruptions.
September 16, 2026 at 9:36 PM
No, that will always be there. But at least we can be rid of the fantasy that all decisions will be 'correct'
September 16, 2026 at 9:33 PM
I do. But I've been an Arsenal fan for 40yrs now so what to do?

I don't accept that it can't be scrapped. The pressure will build
September 16, 2026 at 7:56 PM
VAR was shit and didn't work in the World Cup. It's shit and doesn't work in Germany, in Spain, and in France.

At some point people will realise that it is the system that is at fault.

People *don't* want accurate decisions in football, they want catharsis.
