Before hanging up my social media boots with twitter now just a cesspit thanks to Musk I thought I'd give this a try. Be good to follow fellow #Everton fans and well anyone really who is alright.
Hackney going to be a big player for us, even tonight in a when he was bit in and out, I like the fact he drives forward, always positive, not just taking the safe option.
The business we did this summer was good. Such a shame we didn't get another 2-3 which will probably hamper us towards Xmas.

A deserved if laboured win with some shocking final passes/finishes. Really good to see Dibling have his best game (and some excellent defensive work from him too) and a lovely goal from Alcaraz.

I think he's a rank average full back but tbf this season he's played pretty well and even got forward a few times.

Fully expect JOB and Keane to start. However if Dibling plays (I think he will) he has to do better than he did last round We desperately need options and it's clear again today he's down the pecking order and on performances I'm not shocked

Good result for the unbeaten toffees and the best 2 chances were ours (KDH and Johnson).
Tarkowski and Branthwaite solid again and I have to admit Mykolenko's good start to the season continues. Still not sure on AMN defensively but he's very comfortable on the ball.

Utterly grim!
I do think the one player who has had a slow start to the season and was average today is KDH. Even the first game, he was fairly quiet (altho his goal was brilliant). Hopefully he can regain his form and link up with Grealish because we are going to need him.

Overall I thought we deserved a point today and full kudos to them for keeping going.
Plenty of good performances and I thought Hayden Hackney was superb when he came on. Thought he was good first game too.
What a goal from AMN too. Not a bad way to start your EFC career off.

Moyes press conference on Friday could be v interesting.
We have gone from a club who had optimism, but realising we needed a few players to a selling club (again) desperate for cash.
This season now absolutely hinges on 1-2 key players not getting injured. Never mind having 1 striker.

The board/CEO may worry more when s/t sales fall of a cliff next season after novelty of new stadium has worn off.
