Then definitely don't watch the fourth season.
Ted Lasso. That third season HURT.
What TV show got so bad it effectively destroyed your appreciation for the show when it was was good?

It's quite an honor to live in a state where both of our senators are an abject embarrassment.

10/10. No notes.
Much to shock of AI enthusiasts, Pope Leo XIV decreed this morning that he is your only friend. He is not your only friend but he's a little glowing friend but really he is not actually your friend but he is.

It would be amazing if his childhood dream wasn't to meet the pope, but to meet THIS pope.

Yeah, but what if you need it to wash down the nachos that you also brought to the job interview?
I’m sorry, but if you bring an iced coffee - or any damn beverage at all - to a job interview, you’re disqualified. It’s not hard, people.

I mean, good for him for learning how to dress like a human, but Facebook's issue is not its fashion sense.
As Meta pushes into fashion industry, Mark Zuckerberg talked about his and his company's style evolution for the first time. Read the exclusive interview here. nyti.ms/4rwaad7

I'm starting to think the last "good thing" that AI did was make possible the release of The Beatles' "Now and Then."

While we're at it, on this #HobbitDay, it's worth noting that the town on the Long Lake in "The Hobbit" is called — wait for it —
Lake Town.
One of the most enduring characters of the last 40 years in cinema is a guy called Hannibal who is a cannibal.
if you ever struggle with names when worldbuilding just remember there's a whole massive mountain range called The Rockies

Happy #HobbitDay! Remember that today of all days, it is no small thing to celebrate a simple life.

Bold thing to say in a country that historically has been the target of genocide and forced famine.
Trump: "They say you can't generalize about groups of people. But you can!"

We should remember the heroism of the first responders who gave their lives to rescue others on 9/11. We should also remember the civilians who were killed for the act of living their lives. My column from 2018 (apologies for the oversized mugshot):

Adam Richter: Let’s remember the civilians who died in the September 11 attacks
Today we remember the lives lost 17 years ago, when terrorists killed nearly 3,000 people in New York, Washington and Shanksville, Pa. To steal a line from Abraham Lincoln, it is altogether fitting an...

All I want is one space — one! — where we don't have to constantly ask, "was this AI?"
After getting a play rejection that was written by AI, I thought about this blog post I wrote back in the spring.

Must AI invade the theater space, too? - Adam-Richter.com
The harmful technology is everywhere. Theater should be a refuge from the encroachment of AI.

On 2 September 1973 J.R.R. #Tolkien died aged 81. #Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings is the best-selling book of the 20th Century, and is joined by seminal works The Hobbit and The Silmarillion.

He may have died 53 years ago but his influence and legacy lives on in us all. Namárië. #booksky #lotr

You can tell a more nuanced story of Scrooge without trying to "both-sides" it into some mealy gray mass.

I know. I did it with "Jacob and Ebenezer: A Love Story." The play, which further explores Ebenezer's descent into inhumanity, is a full-length play that's easy to stage.
