A problem I have with a lot of Quake source ports is having animation interpolation on by default. Quake animations aren't supposed to be smooth! They're choppy! The game has a stop motion look to it and that's a part of it!

I lament how many get into it new and just don't know that.

I'm 25~ hours into it on Steam now, finished the story and diving into the side stuff and really liking it. Really not as involved or annoying as I remembered. Having a real good time doing co-op with the same pal I played it with back then too.
