According to Bluesky, if nine people sit at a table with one Nazi, there are ten Nazis at the table. So if fifty people go to a protest and one of them shoots a police officer...

It's funny seeing in action the indestructible myth that the United States Government is stingy and callous, disdainful of the bottom quintile. Au contraire: It shovels billions upon billions of dollars into its vast social welfare bureaucracy.

Got my black wife a watermelon for Juneteenth, and we laughed, because it's a silly holiday and neither of us care about modern racial narcissism. Happy slave day or whatever, though.

There's a rattlesnake in my workplace. It's rattling at me.

"Restoration" is a tough brand to maintain as we become a country of sidewalk tent cities and grape-sized ticks.

Of course. Just make him withdraw his trillion dollars of cash from the ATM and distribute it to one million people in a country of over 300 million. It's so obvious.
What if those millions came together and redistributed that trillion? We would have a million millionaires...

Elon Musk is such a powerful oligarch that he regularly ends up in court for frivolities like "prove your falling rocket motors won't land on a whale." Truly a man beyond reach.

You (we!) increased immigration to unprecedented levels in liberal democracies which explicitly privilege and reward ethnic factionalism. Obviously there's race riots. What are you going to do about it? Censor the internet? What are we doing here?

So is this the voice of the unheard or isn't it?

>look inside

>it's ethnic factionalism and social engineering

People are actually right to be skeptical and conspiracy-minded around elections. You should assume every election is dirty until proved clean. Can you link every ballot in California with the living, breathing voter in whose name it was cast? If you can't do that, I'm afraid the election is a sham.

It was always going to end up as a lame spectacle in the Red vs. Blue nursing home brawl. Whichever party controls the White House determines whose brand of tired propaganda gets showcased. It happens to be Red this time.

The fact that the Digwa family thought concocting a racism narrative would shield them from police action pretty much gives the game away.

Found it. Research, Information and Communications Unit (RICU).
The American government has (or had - Trump may have scrapped it) a "Community Relations Service" which coaches the parents of victims like Nowak to make such statements. The UK might have a similar institution. A lot of these statements are basically made under duress.

Reminder that the issue at hand is a homicide in which the police arrested the dying victim on the word of his assailant for what appear to be racial reasons. Catastrophizing about an opposition figure is obviously the British state conducting narrative control.

"My politics are a baseline of decent behavior, and your politics are an intentional deviation from that" really is a cunning Jedi mind trick against the many, many people whose primary directive is "be basically good and decent." Smuggles all those pernicious ideas right past their defenses.

Without even looking, I'll bet I can summarize both books mentioned here.

BoyMom: "How to combat the innate evil within your son, who is simply a flawed copy of your daughter."

Patriarchy Blues: "The male sex suffers due to its own tyrannical nature."

Britain is an island to the north and west of the European continent. There are people living on this island. These people have a government. What is the purpose of that government?

I'm really appalled by this trend wherein empathy is fêted as the queen of virtues. It's not a synonym for "compassion." Most of these people have no theory of mind for people outside their own tradition which doesn't boil down to "they're evil."

Really wondering if I should stretch the interpretation of sound medical advice and get my wife back into the bowling league immediately after having a baby. Other teams play worse when she's on my team.
