Technically I had a game on my windows 95 that I can't remember much of but I always managed to play it even when my mother turned of the gui. Was my first escape from life at about 7.
Then old WoW where I learned teamwork, and that games had robust communities. Before they removed the need for it.

Please be careful which mushrooms you eat raw. Raw mushrooms can cause quite severe food poisoning. So if you have access to more variety like lionsmane or chicken of the woods etc, cook them thoroughly. It's also very hard to burn them so cooking them is the easiest thing ever.

I've been looking into getting a plum tree for the fruit and beauty. Most do need to be paired but some varieties say they self pollinate. There are also ornamental ones that are beautiful but don't fruit. Hopefully I can afford one next year, but alas we're poor these days

Broccoli is very delicious when cooked right. I wish Our parents had someone teaching them how to make things tasty when we were kids. More of us would choose vegetables over sweets then. As long as the kids are eating you have done a good job though.
